Economic Federation judges speaks of illegal Christmas dinner payment!

In a sensational judgment, the Feldkirch Regional Court guilty of the four accused of the so -called "Economic Confederation". This happened on Tuesday, where, among other things, the former Vorarlberg state governor Karlheinz Rüdisser (ÖVP) and three ex-executives of the Economics Association, Hans Peter Metzler, Jürgen Kessler and Walter Natter, were convicted of acceptance. The judge found that the payment of Christmas dinner, organized by the Economics Association at a total value of 12,980 euros, was illegal, since the invitations were issued by Rüdisser, whereby the costs were borne by the business association, as already by Oe24 reported.

The fines imposed are considerable: Rüdisser has to pay 27,500 euros, while Metzler with 15,000 euros, Kessler with 13,500 euros and Natter are asked to pay with 10,000 euros. Interestingly, half of the penalties were pronounced on three years, which means that they do not have to be enforced immediately under certain conditions. Appeal has already been appealed, so the judgments are not yet final, such as Salzburg24 note.
