The JRE roulette, one of the most exciting gourmet events in Austria, recently took place in the Hotel Alpin culinary delay in Achenkirch. With this unique concept, the best top chefs do not cook in their own restaurants, but take over the kitchens of their colleagues, which ensures a breath of fresh air and surprises in the catering trade.

The Jeunes Restaurateur (JRE), an organization that is almost exclusively made up of top chefs and restaurant owners of the upscale gastronomy in Europe. The participants were drawn in advance, and the names of the chefs remained secret until the first corridors were served. This exciting ingredient made the evening particularly exciting.

One of the highlights of the evening was the presence of Richard Rauch, the President of the JRE and a cook, which was awarded 4 Gault & Millau-Haube. Together with Armin Gründler, the chef of the alpine, they conjured up a unique menu, which consisted of delicious sauer soup and trout with pumpkin, melon, salt lemon and paradeiser. Both chefs are masters of their subject and association traditional cuisine with creative approaches.

Richard Rauch is known for its impressive culinary skills and its unconventional methods. So he recently caused a stir in the TV show "Kitchen Impossible" when he challenged the famous Koch Tim Mälzer and emerged with a historical victory as a clear winner.

The alpine, which comes up with an excellent gourmet Stüberl and a connoisseur tavern, offered the ideal framework for this tasteful event. The combination of high -quality regional ingredients and a deep understanding of taste attracts gourmets from all over the region.

Another aspect of the JRE roulette is the charity idea. Last year, impressive 30,630 euros were donated to the organization light in the dark/Ö3 Christmas miracle. This year, part of the proceeds will also be donated to a flood project that was launched by JRE member Josef Floh. This action aims to help the victims of the flood disaster in Lower Austria.

Overall, the JRE Roulette in the Hotel Alpin culinary art was not only a festival for the palate of the guests, but also an event with a deeper meaning. The synergy between the hood chefs not only promoted the exchange of culinary knowledge, but also strengthened the commitment to important social projects.
