Ralf Stoffers: New state superintendent brings a breath of fresh air!

Feldkirch, Österreich - The synod of the Evangelical Church H.B. In Austria on March 29, 2025 in Feldkirch Ralf Stoffers elected the new state superintendent. This significant step took place as part of a multi -stage choice, in which Stoffers received a total of 14 out of 21 votes in the sixth ballot and thus achieved the necessary two -thirds majority. Thomas Hennefeld, the predecessor of Stoffers, also had run. In the first ballot, both candidates were on par.

Ralf Stoffers was born in Lower Saxony in 1969. He studied Protestant theology in Marburg/Lahn and Vienna. He had held this position since October 1, 2022 when he was determined by his predecessor Thomas Hennefeld.
