On Thursday evening, March 7, 2025, a fire broke out in a newly opened supermarket on Grütstrasse, Lustenau. An attentive customer noticed the flames and immediately alerted the emergency services. The extinguishing work lasted until around 11:45 p.m., and a total of 8 fire engines and 80 emergency services were used, supported by the police and rescue workers.
