Ukrainian drones light the Russian factory: flames and chaos in Tambow!

Krasnogwardejsk, Krim, Russland - The Ukrainian military has carried out a targeted drone attack on a Russian weapons factory in Mitschurinsk, Tabow oblast. In the attack, several explosions were accompanied by video and showed high flames and smoke. The VNIIR factory, an important production facility for flight and rocket control systems in Russia, was set on fire. According to the regional governor Oleg Nikolayev, two drones plunged into the site. The work there was interrupted to ensure the security of the employees, but there were no injuries, as the local authorities reported. The Ukrainian armed forces refer to the factory as a "military facility", which, among other things, produces antennas for Iranian Shahed drones. Attacks of this kind are to be continued until Russia sets its “armed aggression” against Ukraine. Two other drones plunged into fields outside the factory site without endangering the civilian population. In addition, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced that a total of 49 Ukrainian drones were intercepted on Monday night.

At the same time, there was another drone attack on the Crimea annexed by Russia, which set fire to a ammunition camp. The attack took place in the district of Krasnogwardejsk north of Simferopol. The governor Sergej Aksjonov, who was deployed by Moscow, reported that there were no dead or injuries, but the local residents were evacuated and rail traffic was discontinued. Social networks impressively show the dimensions of the inferno and the resulting detonations. This offensive was confirmed by the Ukrainian side, even if no detailed information was published. The military context is reinforced by a previous attack on the controversial Crimean Bridge, which led to the destruction of a part of the bridge and two people cost the lives. This event is part of a systematic Ukrainian approach that focuses on the destruction of military infrastructure, which is important for the Russian occupation troops.

Russian attacks on civilian infrastructure

The situation in Ukraine remains tense, not only because of the military attacks, but also because of the targeted attacks in Russia on civilian infrastructure. A spokesman for the Ukrainian military reported 66 shot down Russian air bodies, while Ukrainian destinations such as Kiev, Tscherkassy and Chmelnyzkyj were attacked. These attacks led to the destruction of civil infrastructure, while reports on dead or injuries have so far failed to materialize. Nevertheless, there is news about injuries in the Woronech area, which underlines the brutality of the current conflicts. At the same time, the occupation of villages in the east of Ukraine continues. The entire scenario illustrates the persistent, violent argument, which has been going on for 17 months and demands numerous civilian victims.

In the entire Ukraine, there was an alarm mood shortly after midnight when the population reacted to the drone attacks. These attacks and the subsequent escalations show that both sides intensify their military strategies and continue to rely on military and infrastructural goals.
