Social fraud in Tyrol: Masseur faithed over 60,000 euros!
A 46-year-old masseur from Tyrol has come into the focus of the investigators in a sensational case of social fraud. Between June 2021 and April 2024, the man who had been unspecified has made illegal social benefits of around 60,000 euros to an enormous extent. This reported ORF TIROL . The accused stated that he would be into financial hardship because he had to deduct debts from his training of 40,000 euros and support his family. However, this excuse could not conflict with the severity of his crimes.
The man was caught fraud against the social security insurance of the state of Tyrol, the Austrian Health Insurance Fund (ÖGK) and the labor market service (AMS). Despite his official rest period, he continued to work as a masseur in a hotel and achieved income that significantly exceeded the legally defined minor limit.
