In recent supervisory board meetings, both RegionalMedien Austria AG (RMA) and Moser Holding AG have announced changes to their executive boards. According to a report from www.ots.at, Andreas Eisendle will be joining the board of RMA in March 2025. Eisendle, currently the managing director of Moser Holding’s magazine subsidiary, Bundesländerinnen, will be working alongside Georg Doppelhofer, whose contract has been extended for another four years. Eisendle will be taking over from Gerhard Fontan, who will be leaving the RMA board at the end of February 2025 after many years of successful service.
Andreas Eisendle has been with the Moser Holding since 2004, holding various leadership positions and making significant contributions to the development of the company. He played a key role in building the magazine division and developing the nationwide Bundesländerinnen magazines, which have become the largest lifestyle magazine group in Austria.
Silvia Lieb, CEO of Moser Holding and Chairwoman of the RMA supervisory board, expressed her confidence in Eisendle’s ability to lead RMA into a successful future. Lieb stated that Eisendle’s experience and understanding of the valuable synergy between regional identity and national positioning make him well-suited for his new role at RMA, which shares strong parallels with the Bundesländerinnen magazines.
In addition to his new position at RMA, Andreas Eisendle will continue to provide strategic leadership for the Bundesländerinnen magazine group. Katharina Egger-Zierl, currently the national editorial director of Bundesländerinnen and managing director of TIROLERIN, will support him operationally and join the management team of the Bundesländerinnen magazines. Lieb and Rudolf Schwarz, CMO of Moser Holding, expressed their confidence in Egger-Zierl’s capabilities and believe that she is the right choice for this role.
Another change announced is the restructuring of the management team at Moser Holding. As of June 30, 2024, Markus Kichl will step down from his position as CFO by his own request and assume the role of Secretary General/Head of Legal. Silvia Lieb, the CEO, will take on Kichl’s previous board responsibilities, and together with Rudolf Schwarz, they will lead the company as a two-person executive board. Lieb acknowledged Kichl’s decision and expressed her gratitude for his continued presence in her close-knit team, citing his extensive experience in the media industry, expertise, and industry knowledge as valuable assets for the Moser Holding.
