stages overview and challenges
The fourth stage, which extends over 160 kilometers, is designed to request the driver field at the most. The drivers have to face several climbs, whereby the first increase to Passo San Antonio is considered particularly demanding. This is followed by a mostly less difficult section on the Kreuzberg Pass. This race is characterized by short, selective stages and fast transfers that make up the special charm of the series of events.
The final stage on Friday, April 25, also promises high tension. After a flat start, the drivers at Bannberg have to cope with a challenging increase before - about ten kilometers before the finish in Lienz - another, feared climb to Stronach is waiting. The highlight of this stage is the grand finale on the main square of Lienz, where the first cyclists will cross the finish line.
