Life -saving exercises: Fire brigade Lienz trains efforts in the event of accidents
On October 19, an impressive annual financial statements by the Lienz fire brigade took place on the site of the Rossbacher company in Nußdorf-Debant. In a realistically recovered scenario, the emergency services trained the handling of a simulated traffic accident, in which a platform vehicle and a car had to act quickly and efficiently in critical situations.
The course of the exercise was complex: a vehicle accident not only included the difficult salvage of a person who was trapped in their car, but also the later extinguishing of the accident vehicle that got into fire by a respiratory protection squad. At the same time, a full protection squad of protection level 3 was entrusted with the task of containing expiring hazardous substances and ensuring safety at the site. These exercises are crucial for the preparation of the emergency services for real inserts, which often take place under similar, demanding conditions.
Special exercise for emergency doctors
The fire brigade groupant of the rescue vehicle led the exercise and explained the individual steps in detail in order to illustrate the processes for the emergency doctors. Cooperation between the various rescue workers was a central topic. In a practical session, 19 participants practiced with fire brigade Alfred Senfter in order to be able to optimally survive the emergency at best.

These training courses ensure that the emergency services are always up to date with the latest technology and tactics and can therefore react in the best possible way in an emergency.
