Together strong: student projects promote resilience in the Paznaun

In Galtür there will soon be something to celebrate! The “Kidz Paz-Nown” project, which is supported by the Austrian Academy of Sciences, has made significant progress in the past two years. The aim of this project is to strengthen resilience, i.e. the resilience of young people in the Paznaun region and the district capital Landeck. This initiative not only aims to promote the individual skills of the students, but also to the entire community.

Around 70 students from the Paznaun middle school, the Borg Landeck and the Landeck School of Polytechnic school actively participated in the project. Together with representatives from society and the economy, they have created creative, scientific works. This creative cooperation is now presented in a specially curated exhibition, which is under the inviting motto "strong together". It is a perfect opportunity to present the results of the project to a broader public.

The opening of the exhibition

The highlight will be the opening of the exhibition, which will take place on December 10th at 7:00 p.m. This event not only offers a platform for the students, but also the opportunity for the governor Anton Mattle to be on site and to honor the importance of the initiative. The exhibition itself is curated by the artist Mag. Helga Madera, supported by Michael Engele, and promises to be visually appealing and interactive. The combination of art and science should not only show the creativity of the students, but also the commitment of the entire community in strengthening youth resilience in the region.

The students learned a lot not only from the field of education, but also from the economy. This helps not only to promote the individual skills of the students, but also to strengthen the sense of community. Such projects are essential to prepare young people for the challenges of life and to make them confident, committed members of society.

The presentation of these creative and scientific work will certainly help focus on the most important topics of resilience and community thinking. It will be exciting to see what ideas and perspectives the exhibition gives visitors and how to stimulate the discussion about strengthening youth in the Paznaun.
