PAZNAUN project: An evening of brass music and passion in Galtür

On October 13, 2024, the music lovers in Galtür experienced an unforgettable evening in the Silvretta Saal when the “Paznaun” project presented its second concert. Under the direction of the experienced moderator Jan Hinnerk Arnke, who took the audience with his humor and funny interludes, a unique musical journey was offered. Arnke put the essentials of the evening perfectly to the point by emphasizing the meaning of "love, music and passion", as the famous writer Henri Stendhal once put it.

The heart of the event was the symphonic wind orchestra, which united over 60 talented members from the surrounding communities such as Galtür, Ischgl, Lake and Kappl. This group, which includes both young and experienced musicians, had meticulously prepared for this concert in just one month through six rehearsals. Led by Thomas Jehle, a well -known conductor, the artists provided sustainable applause and a lively atmosphere.

special musical performances

A highlight of the evening was the clarinet concert by Oscar Navarro, which was masterfully interpreted by Daniel Kurz, a native of Ischgler and current solo clarinetist at the Potsdam Chamber Academy. The performances also included works by well -known composers such as Richard Strauss, Stephen Melillo and Alfred Reed, who delighted and fascinated the audience. The selection of the pieces reflected the diverse musical influences and let the audience immerse yourself in another world.

Arnke, who is also an actor and director, also expressed himself about the region, which he knows as "destination for leisure fun and skiing". At the same time, he expressed his conviction that the Paznaun project stands for the message: "Blasm music is cool." This artistic initiative has set itself the goal of promoting interest in brass music and bringing back the love of music in the region.

In an interview,

Daniel Kurz spoke about how his musical career was shaped by the Musik secondschule Paznaun and the friendships to his music colleagues. The exchange and cooperation with talented musicians from their own surroundings make a decisive contribution to the development of the musical community. Arnke fully completed these views with the remark: "It also means clarinets and not clear."

The initiators Nicol Salner and Thomas Jehle not only created a demanding artistic experience with this concert evening, but also created a strong feeling of the community among the participants and the spectators. Thomas Jehle was celebrated as a "man of the evening" and left a lasting impression among everyone present. For many, this evening was not just another event, but an unforgettable experience of musical excellence and personal commitment.

Overall, the evening in the Silvretta Saal showed that music is a universal language that can beat bridges between generations and communities. The Paznaun project has once again proven that the passion for music is strong and can bring people together, regardless of age or origin.
