Restart for the EHC Kundl Crocodiles: With fresh vigor into the season

On Friday, October 18, the starting signal for the new season of the EHC Kundl Crocodiles is given. The team, which had already performed strongly last season, wants to build on these successes in the upcoming championship. In the last season, the EHC had not only reached a place in the play-off, but also won exciting games in the quarter-finals against the tent path, which they led to the semi-finals against Hohenems

The coach Jaro Betka remains loyal to the team and has decided to maintain the majority of the previous team. This should ensure continuity and enable the team to continue to be successful in the fight for the foremost places. However, there are also a few new additions. Young talents such as Felix Platzer, Lion Ramoser and Marcel Nedwed were hired to bring the fresh wind into the team. It is particularly excited about the performance of the long-time Ahl striker Tobias Dinhopel, who with his experience could cause a sensation in the attack.

keeper and collaborations

Also important for the new season is the commitment of the 25-year-old Slovak Jakub Kostenny as a new number 1 in goal. His role should give the team more stability. In addition, it is expected that during the season some young players from Zell am See will also come to the EHC as a cooperation partner to increase the team width.

The first game of the season takes place against EHC Lustenau and is the prelude for the crocodiles that compete against HC Kufstein the following week. The team is optimistic and ready to accept the challenge.

The youngsters are in the starting blocks

The juniors of the crocodiles are also well positioned in parallel to the preparation for men. Dry training has been working hard since August to successfully design the coming months. Trainer Simon Brandner and his team are concerned with integrating many young talents into the team and continuing the path taken. In addition, the juniors recently took part in an ice hockey camp in Kitzbühel to optimally adjust to the season. Children aged 5 years are invited to report to become part of the team.

Another highlight for the EHC Kundl was the awarding of the golden club badge to President Josef Unterer. He received the award for his extraordinary services to the association that he has been running since 2008. This honorary badge was first awarded in the club's 30-year history, which underlines its importance. Chairman Gerhard Maier emphasized the importance of lower commitment to the crocodiles and thanked him on behalf of the entire club.

With the upcoming games and a solid team structure, the crocodiles are ready to cause a sensation again in the ice hockey scene and look forward to an exciting season. Information on this and further developments can also be found on www.rofankurier.at .
