Art enjoyment in Kufstein: 33rd art exhibition of the Tyrolean master
The Sparkasse Kufstein invited to the 33rd art exhibition, which takes visitors to the world of Tyrolean art until January 24, 2025. The show takes place in the 2nd to 4. floor of the Sparkasse and is open from Monday to Friday between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Entry is free of charge, which makes the event particularly attractive for art lovers and interested parties. During this time of year, the Sparkasse presents three talented artists from the region who are not only observed in Tyrol, but also beyond.
The heart of the exhibition forms the works of Veronika Gerber, Elmar Kopp and Siegfried Goldberger. The director of the Sparkasse, Klaus Felderer, commented on the emotional effect of the imposed art: "Often you are faced with a picture and can see a certain feeling that pulls you in and at that moment fully took into account." Such works of art are created to captivate the viewer and take them into another world.
The works of Veronika Gerber
Veronika Gerber, born in Hall in Tyrol in 1958, is known for her impressive oil and egg temperature painting. Her inspiration draws her from the landscapes around Lake Garda and everyday objects. Gerber's still lifes are characterized by a reduction to the essentials. With strong colors and clear lines, it creates harmonious and at the same time expressive compositions. Their works radiate a meditative calm and captivate the viewers.
Elmar Kopp - a master of colors
Prof. Elmar Kopp, who died in 2020, is considered an important sculptor and painter. Despite the loss of his right hand, he left an impressive life's work. His art includes painting, sculptures, glass windows and reliefs. His landscapes and sacred works are particularly noteworthy. Kopp was known for his expressive play of colors and the masterful handling of light, which gives his work a permanent attraction and timeless quality. His son, Dietmar Kopp, reminds you during the opening of how his father shaped the art scene.
art by Siegfried Goldberger
Siegfried Goldberger, born in Salzburg, takes the viewer on imaginative trips to his dream worlds, which he captures in precise pen drawings and watercolors. His works reflect a deep fascination for mountains and ruins. Through unusual perspectives, it conveys feelings of loneliness and grandeur. Goldberger's art combines mystical elements with a touch of uncertainty, which creates a special atmosphere through its elaborate painting technology.
The commitment of the Sparkasse Kufstein to support regional artists and to promote culture is obvious. This exhibition is an excellent opportunity to discover the variety and talent of the Tyrolean art scene. The works shown not only offer insights into the individual art view of the three artists, but also into the cultural identity of the region.
