New construction of the Sparkasse Kitzbühel: A sign of sustainability and innovation

The Sparkasse Kitzbühel goes into a new era and plans to build an innovative headquarters. The Norwegian-American architecture firm Snøhetta, known for its creative architecture, has been awarded the contract for this exciting project. The new building is not only modern, but also the first sustainable bank building with a unique straw facade in the region.

The planning has already started and the entire construction is implemented in a sustainable framework. What is special about this construction is the use of wood and straw as materials, which will lead to a traditional but at the same time modern appearance. Solar cells on the roof and a well thought -out cooling system contribute to the excellent energy balance of the building. According to the architects, the new location will be a place of encounter and cooperation for both customers and employees.

New requirements for the work environment

The old Sparkassen headquarters, which was built 40 years ago, can no longer meet today's requirements. Petra Schmidberger, the CEO of Sparkasse Kitzbühel, explains: "Digitization requires new working models. We need significantly more space for teamwork that promote creativity and efficiency." The new headquarters will offer space for modern working methods and act as a common contact point for customers and employees.

In this context, Oliver Bertram, CEO of Teamgnesda, emphasizes the importance of combining architectural quality with functional requirements. The new structure is captivated by a striking hole facade and placed on flexible work surfaces.

sustainability in focus

The decision to build the Sparkasse commitment reflects to act in an environmentally conscious and future -oriented manner. Snøhetta has developed a concept that combines high energy efficiency and space quality. The compact building is cleverly designed to minimize heat losses, and the gable roof ensures additional efficiency. A protected room with a terrace and large windows will be versatile, for example for events.

Overall, the procedure for this outstanding project was coordinated under the direction of Teamgnesda. Numerous architectural offices with a regional reference were invited to develop ideas, with Snøhetta finally receiving the winning call. Patrick Lüth from Snøhetta describes the construction project as responsible in dealing with resources and emphasizes: "The result will be a modern, straw -immeded wooden building that looks both massive and sustainable."

The completion of the state -of -the -art bank building is expected in about three to four years. During the construction period, the approximately 80 employees are accommodated in a temporary building that also takes up the regional style and takes into account modern work approaches.

Details about the individual steps and the future developments of the project, which deals intensively with the current requirements for the banking landscape, can be read in further reports www.meinbezirk.at .
