The Memmingen Indians have strengthened their squad for the coming season by hiring Jack Olmstead and Tyler Spurgeon. Olmstead, a 26-year-old American striker, is initially planned as a fourth contingent player until Linus Svedlund receives German citizenship. Robert Pelekis stays in the team and complements the squad, while Pascal Dopatka extended his contract with the ECDC Memmingen to go into his third season.

Special attention applies to Tyler Spurgeon's obligation, who, at 38, is an experienced center forward. Spurgeon comes from ESV Kaufbeuren, where he acted as captain for the past four years. In 227 second division games, he scored an impressive 198 points and is characterized by his combat power and great leadership qualities. Before his time in Kaufbeuren, he played in Austria's elite league, including five years in Innsbruck and several years in Klagenfurt. In addition, trace was selected by the Edmonton Oilers in the eighth round of the NHL drafts and gained experience in Echl and the Ahl.

leader for the Indians

ECDC Memmingen plans to integrate trace as a leader and top performer into the team. His number is #91. Sven Müller, a person responsible for the club, described Spurgeon as a stroke of luck and model for young players. It was originally planned to start the season with two contingent players, but the decision was made to hire trace to strengthen team dynamics.

The Memmingen Indians' squad planning not only includes Olmstead and Trace, but also new players in the areas of goal, defense and attack to be optimally equipped for the coming season.
