New synchronous ice skating teams in Innsbruck: strong together on the ice!

The foundation of new synchronous ice skating teams in Innsbruck is an important step for the ice skating sports environment in Tyrol. Anja Troger, President of the Tyrolean ice skating association, summarizes it well: "You are strong, unbeatable together". With this approach, young figure skaters should be given the opportunity to develop their skills in the team and at the same time experience the spirit of the community.

This initiative is part of a larger vision that enables athletes to develop independently of age or performance limits. The focus is not only on sporting training, but also on the establishment of values such as team spirit and cohesion. "These values are particularly important in today's society," emphasizes Troger.

funding through community

The ice skating association would like to convey a feeling of cooperation to the young athletes by synchronizing, which should also benefit them beyond sport. Trainer Theresa Katzlinger emphasizes that in the coming season the interaction and cooperation in the team will be in the foreground. In addition to the figure skating, other areas such as athletic training, ballet and expression training are an integral part of the funding.

In order to create a strong sense of community, uniform clothing is of great importance for the teams. Thanks to a generous donation from Idea Helvetia in the amount of 3,000 euros, the necessary freestyle dresses can be purchased. Irina Perisic, representative of the sponsor, explains: "The Tyrolean ice skating association creates a unique environment that combines sporting and social values. We are pleased to support this valuable approach."

The foundation of these new teams not only offers young athletes an opportunity to stay actively on the ice, but also promote the development of social skills. In the long term, these measures could have a positive effect on the athletes' careers. The sports community in Innsbruck can look forward to new talents, which are encouraged both in the sporting and common area.
