Free educational advice in Tyrol: Support for local families
In Tyrol, families are offered extensive support in dealing with educational issues. The country's educational advice offers free and confidential consultations on diverse topics related to education and development of children and adolescents. This not only happens in the advice centers, but also more recently in kindergartens and crèches to create low -threshold access.
Since the introduction of this new initiative, the employees of the educational counseling have already carried out over 5,000 consultations in 2023. This free offer is not only available to parents, but also specialists who work with children. The service is designed in such a way that it can also be used anonymously, which for many families does an additional hurdle.
Various offers for different needs
Families often face specific challenges, whether it is about sibling love, puberty or education in patchwork families. The advice centers are represented in all districts of Tirol and offer a wide range of topics, from parent-child relationships to emotional aspects such as fears and anger. Michaela Gufler, who has held the management of educational advice since last year, emphasizes that every family is unique and needs their own solutions.
The educational advice not only offers initial discussions in which the possible solutions are discussed with the families, but also individual follow -up appointments so that you can respond to specific concerns. The initial meeting laid the foundation for a common process in which experiences and knowledge are shared.
Another highlight is the newly designed information material that captivates with child-friendly dinosaur illustrations. This design aims to present the topics of educational advice appealing and playful. Gufler explains that this positive approach aims to show families that help and support are available in education. The materials can be viewed on the website of the educational advice ( www.tirol.gv.at/erbildungsberatung ).
State Councilor Eva Pawlata emphasizes the importance of such support offers: "The earlier we recognize and tackle challenges, the better we can promote the well -being of children and young people." This initiative, which is supplemented by office hours in educational institutions, is intended to help create more presence and accessibility for affected families.
Overall, the team of educational advice centers comprises 17 specialists, including psychologists, psychologists and educational scientists who all work together to find solutions for the diverse questions that concern parents and families. The support from the consultation is a valuable aid to find orientation in the often challenging everyday life and to improve the family situation.
