Bodily harm during the Krampus run: injured in Imst!
The traditional Krampus run in Imst, on Saturday, November 30th, in a terrifying scene. Around 5:27 p.m., a 22-year-old Austrian woman in Kramergasse became the victim of a brutal attack. A Krampus hit her left hand with a wooden rod with such force that the injury had serious consequences - her hand swelled strongly and she could no longer move her fingers completely. After the incident, the woman went on to the Zams hospital for medical treatment, such as reported.
But this was not the only incident during the festive events. Another serious incident occurred during the Krampus parade in Anras, where a 51-year-old woman almost lost her left hand. She got into the connection of a barrier grille when it fluctuated and was brought to the district hospital in Lienz after the first aid.
