On the evening of May 25, 2025, a brutal attack on a 15-year-old youth and his 17-year-old friend occurred in Sandwirtgasse in Klagenfurt. Three unknown young men attacked the two with parts of a wooden palette and stole the 15-year-old's wallet, which contained cash. After the attack, the perpetrators fled from the crime scene, while the immediately initiated search has remained unsuccessful, as Click Kärnten reported.

The victim was admitted to the Elki in Klagenfurt after primary care. The police confirmed that the 15-year-old injuries suffered indefinite severity and that investigations into the perpetrators were initiated. These are said to have been dressed in dark and worn tortoic caps.
