Omar Sarsam delights Gleisdorf with his Christmas cabaret

In Gleisdorf, the Austrian cabaret artist and specialist for pediatric and youth surgery Omar Sarsam recently filled the forum monastery with his current program "Oh du others". This program plays with the topic of Christmas time, which is a time of thinking and cosiness for many.

In his appearance,

Sarsam remembered his childhood when he was introduced to the secrets of the Christ child and the Santa Claus by his nourishing Filipina, Sally. The answers he received when he asked about the "breastfeeding time of the year" were often puzzling: "Weiß Nic, belief Nic, Wil Nic or Hoff Nic". With this he revealed humorously how he experienced Christmas magic as a child.

embarrassing shopping experience

Another anecdote from Saram's life is about an embarrassing incident during his youth. When he was just 13 years old and was immortal in a girl named Kathi, he treated himself to shopping in the PAM PAM supermarket in Vienna. There he waited in the cash register as he was loved by his heart. His father, ignorant about his son's shyness, suddenly screamed in Arabic: "Omar, Aschranti Fut", which means "Go to Ten Ten". Unfortunately, this disorder ruined his chance of getting closer to Kathi.

The audience was able to experience excerpts from Sarsam's other programs such as "doctor", "heart alarm" and "special class" during the evening, in which he accompanied himself with guitar and keyboard and also made the guests laugh.

omar Sarsam is known for his regular appearances in television programs such as "What's new" with Oliver Baier and the "cabaret summit" on ORF, which makes him a popular figure in the Austrian cabaret scene.

For the fans of the cabaret, there were also impressive performances by other artists such as Mamabeda, the texts by Peter Rosegger, as well as Gunkl, who appeared in the Kunsthaus Weiz, and Andreas Vitsek, who was also present with his "Spätles" program at the Kunsthaus.
