Votes for the KPÖ: for a socially just Styria!

Preparations for the state election on November 24th in Styria are in full swing. The KPÖ in particular is optimistic and convinced that it can convince with new ideas and experienced candidates. Today the top candidate Claudia Klimt-Weithaler and the district party secretary Sabine Wagner presented the essential points and goals of the election campaign in West Styria.

The focus of the KPÖ campaign focuses on topics that directly affect people's everyday life. This includes in particular affordable living and a comprehensive, high-quality health and nursing. The KPÖ has already made some progress in recent years: residential support in Styria has finally been increased again after a long phase of inaction. This happened after over 12,500 people signed a petition on the topic.

a strong mandate for the KPÖ

The KPÖ has a clear goal: it wants to increase its number of votes and mandates in the state parliament. "We have also achieved a lot as an opposition party, for example in the areas of living and care," says Klimt-Weithaler. These successes should serve as the basis in order to achieve even more for the citizens in the future.

A particularly urgent topic is the situation in the health sector. The closures and savings that take place in the LKH Voitsberg are worried. "It is time to put an end to the clearing of health care," emphasizes Sabine Wagner. The KPÖ sees itself as a voice in the political bodies that fight for health care close to home.

address new voters

The KPÖ focuses particularly on those people who have averted politics. This around a third of the voters often shows frustration about the political landscape, which in their opinion does not respond to everyday concerns. "Every vote for the KPÖ is a voice against one, more"! ", Klimt-Weithaler summarizes the motivation for voting.

Another central element of her campaign is the unbureaucratic help that the KPÖ has been offering since 1998. The salaries of MPs are based on the realistic living conditions of the population. Instead of paying themselves high salaries, the KPÖ provides this rest for those in need, which are dependent on support. "We are not concerned with posts and offices, but about a more social Styria," explains Klimt-Weithaler.

The KPÖ has set up an extensive list of candidates for the West Styria constituency. At the top is Claudia Klimt-Weithaler, followed by Gerhard Pagger and Sabine Wagner. Workers from different areas are also represented in the list, including workers, farmers and social consultants.
