New armory of FF Köflach: 7.4 million for the future
The Köflach volunteer fire brigade is currently celebrating not only its 150th anniversary, but also the symbolic groundbreaking ceremony for its new armory, which is said to be completed in November 2025. This impressive construction project is financed with 7.4 million euros and will house an 80 -meter -long building, which includes a 17 -meter -high exercise tower. A remarkable number of prominent guests was present at this historical celebration.

The new armory: a center for training and operations
The search for the appropriate location was anything but simple: two years were used to find the right property for this important project. With many high -tackled goals and requirements that Abi Markus Murgg placed on the new building, it should meet modern standards for the next five decades. The architecture of the building will offer eight parking spaces and two reserve places so that the firefighters can quickly and efficiently deploy their missions. There is also no need in the areas of training and training: Special rooms, social areas and even a place to practice for the fire brigade will give.
At the groundbreaking ceremony, numerous representatives of the fire brigade and politics were present, including ABI Markus Murgg, the deputy fire brigade commander Christian Leitgeb, State Councilor Barbara Eibinger-Miedl and Mayor Helmut Linhart.
