Lecture series in the Kulturhaus: Health issues for all citizens

The MeinMed series of events, which is highly valued in the region, will present a number of four free lectures in the Kulturhaus Knittelfeld by the end of the year. All lectures start at 7 p.m., and prior registration is not necessary, which makes it a comfortable way to find out about important health issues.

The first lecture will take place on Tuesday, October 8th and deals with the topic of "frequent intestinal diseases and colon cancer provision". The speaker is Prim. Dr. Michael Jagoditsch from the General Surgery Department of the Medical University of Graz. This is an opportunity to gain valuable insights into the prevention and treatment of intestinal diseases.

Other interesting topics are on the program of the MeinMed series. OA will be on November 5. Dr. Michael Anelli-Monti from the Department of Internal Medicine of the LKH Murtal about "What can my pacemaker?-Speaking new developments in pacemaker treatment". The next lecture that will take place on November 19 is on the trail of the exciting topic of "forensic medicine - perpetrators". Here is Univ.-Prof.in Dr.in med. Sarah Heinze speak that will take a look behind the scenes of forensic science.

The series will be rounded off on December 3 with a lecture on vein diseases, including thrombosis and varicose veins. FÄ Univ. Ass. Dr.in Katharina Kurzmann-Gütl will inform the audience about current treatment approaches and prevention.
