The many volunteers and pastors also contribute to the fact that the patients are not alone in difficult times.

The palliative care unit has eight single rooms and is currently being managed by a team consisting of twelve graduated health and nursing staff as well as two nursing assistants. The team is supported by social workers who bring in their expertise and a stationary doctor who is largely responsible for the palliative care patients.

In order to ensure comprehensive care for patients, various specialists work together: clinical psychologists, physiotherapists, speech therapists and dietologists are part of the interdisciplinary team. This variety of experts enables individually coordinated care that takes into account both physical and mental aspects.

Jaqueline Muhr and her team do an indispensable work that goes far beyond ordinary care.
