20 years of retirement home in Neuherz-Age: A festival of the community in Lobmingtal
A very special anniversary was celebrated in the Neuherz vulture retirement home. On the occasion of the 20th anniversary, a large-scale celebration took place in the style of a Bavarian folk festival, which brought residents, relatives, employees and the Neuherz-Age family. The joy was great and the atmosphere was characterized by gratitude and sense of community.
"I am so well here that I regret not moving here much earlier," said a senior citizen and thus summed up the important role of the home in the Lobmingtal community. Mayor Christian Wolf also showed his satisfaction: "I am proud that this home is available in my community." The district of Großlobming stands out with its special oasis of wellbeing.
solemn framework and gratitude
The celebration began with a festive Thanksgiving service, celebrated by Pastor Alfred Robnik, who also blessed the harvest crown. The Großlombing church choir framed this special moment with the "Styrian measurement", which was texted by Martha Wölger. During this ceremony, the memory of the former residents was also thought: "Today we think of everyone who lived here and have already left us," remarked Robnik touching.
The beginnings of the home reminded Monika Neuherz-Age in her acceptance speech, where she and her partner Siegfried Geier, together with home manager Bianca Saric-Neuherz and nursing service manager Tanja Blasl, looked back on the journey together. The motto "Together instead of lonely" embodies the philosophy of the home, and the cooperation with various institutions, including doctors, pharmacies, the Red Cross and local fire brigades, helps to work smoothly. Particularly noteworthy are the employees who look far beyond a job and take care of the residents.
Another highlight of the solemn event was the honor of employees who have been on duty for up to 19 years. Talks with the service anniversaries show that they form not only colleagues, but also a large family. Together it is celebrated, laughed and also mourned, which creates a deep connection with each other. A relative summed up: "My mother has been here for four years and loves it." This speaks for the positive atmosphere and loving care in the home.
The anniversary festival offered a varied program and a delicious hospitality that delighted everyone present. There are also news from the home: nurses are warmly admitted to the extended family. However, the demand for places for seniors is currently high and there is a waiting list. If you want to strive for a place, it is best to get on this list quickly to become part of this unique community.
