Tragic accident: 58-year-old died in woodwork in Hartberg

Flattendorf, Österreich - A tragic misfortune occurred in the Hartberg area community when a 58-year-old man died in woodwork during a neighborhood. The Oststeirer, together with several helpers, was busy cleaning up in the local forest after the damage to a storm. According to the police, he was killed by a massive tree trunk while removing storm damage. A distant helper heard the scream of the man and hurried to help, but only found the legs of the already unconscious man under the tree trunk, as reported.

The situation was extremely dramatic because the rescuers, supported by two tractors and three cable winds, had great difficulty to raise the heavy tree trunk, especially through the steep terrain. Finally, they managed to free the man, but the emergency doctor could only find the death of the 58-year-old. The relatives of the victim are currently being looked after by a crisis intervention team, while the police have not found any evidence of external debt, so Austria 24 .

The tree fell in the direction of a tractor on which the 59-year-old was sitting.
