New wind on the supervisory board: political Rochades in Styria!
Österreich, Land - On March 2, ÖBB is facing a striking change: almost all members of the Supervisory Board are exchanged. Only the deputy Kurt Weinberger remains on the committee. This profound change is coordinated by FPÖ infrastructure Minister Norbert Hofer, who performs the function of the owner representative. Among other things, the former FPÖ politicians Monika Forstinger and Norbert Gugerbauer are new, with Forstinger being the Minister of Transport until recently. With the new President Arnold Schiefer, a former ÖBB manager, the leadership through political interdependencies clearly shows how reported.
Rocades in the state units
The Styrian state government conducts border processes in 17 state -related companies at the same time. In the areas of health, culture and tourism, over 130 supervisory board positions will be filled. This change was a predictable measure of a newly elected government. In the hospitality company Kages in particular, the previous chairman of the supervisory board, Günter Dörflinger, who comes from the SPÖ, has to vacate his place. His successor, Peter McDonald from the ÖVP, is now at the helm. The supervisory board structure is thus increasingly determined by the government party, as can be read in a report by ORF Steiermark .In other renowned institutions, serious changes have also been announced: Maria Großbauer will lead the Supervisory Board of the Bühnen Graz, while the former Mayor of Graz Siegfried Nagl is taking the lead in the Joanneum Universal Museum. In Styria Tourism, a total of seven places are replaced under new management staff, with many of these positions being filled by the FPÖ.
