The Kainbacher Passion Games 2025 are just around the corner and promise a unique theater experience under the title "#Follower". The premiere will be celebrated on March 14th in the cultural hall of the living environments of the merciful brothers in Kainbach near Graz. This new staging deals with the question of what it means to follow an idea or vision. The staging combines both biblical and modern topics and addresses the influence of social media and current social challenges. As noted in the invitation text, everything revolves around the questions of trust, betrayal and dedication, which gain new meaning in view of the modern world.
The theater ensemble, which consists of 60 committed members - from residents of the “living environments” of the mercy brothers, employees and theater enthusiasts - is characterized by a strong cohesion. This inclusive group of actors, which includes people with and without impairments, has worked on the performances for over four months. The ensemble members emphasize the team spirit and the joint striving for a successful evening. The director Martina Pusterhofer has been playing the Kainbach passion games since 2006 and emphasizing that there are no leading roles. Everyone has the chance to be in the spotlight, which reinforces the dynamics and interaction between the actors.
