New parties in Graz: Styrian state election promises surprises

Maria Hubmer-Mogg, the top candidate of the DNA, published important details on the upcoming Styrian state election on November 24th in a press conference on Wednesday in Graz. In addition to the six already established parties, there are also three more lists in this choice. Interestingly, these new lists will only appear in constituency 1, the Graz and its surroundings.

The candidate said that DNA had collected over 200 declarations of support in constituency 2. However, the party focuses on the urban environment of Graz, where you can see a "realistic and good option" for the preservation of a basic mandate. In order to be able to move into the state parliament, the DNA needs around 12,500 votes - a challenge that may not be underestimated in this competition.

strategic orientation of the DNA

The decision to focus on constituency 1 shows the strategic orientation of the DNA. According to Hubmer-Mogg, the party looks optimistic about the upcoming elections and believes that the support of the voters in Graz will be decisive. Due to the concentration on this region, DNA could have the opportunity to consolidate its political presence in Styria.

The combination of a solid basis for support and a clear objective for constituency 1 could help the DNA to achieve their goals and to be represented in the state parliament. The coming weeks will show how successful the party is in mobilizing its voters and whether it can win the necessary votes to achieve their goal.
