Graz: The all -clear after threat of explosive device in train stations

Last night a threat that affected the use of explosives caused excitement among the security forces in Graz. As a precaution, the police decided to evacuate Graz Central Station and the Ostbahnhof. These measures took place after the threat was received by email, in which a potential danger to people could not be excluded.

The first started at 7:30 p.m. when the emergency services were alerted. While the officers searched the train stations, train traffic was temporarily stopped. The investigation regarding the sender of the threatening email is now in progress. For reasons of investigation, however, the police initially hold the details of the perpetrator back. In the meantime, it remains to be seen how such incidents can be prevented in the future.
