Traditional Martinikranzchen in Frauental: a feast of conviviality
On Friday, November 15th, a festive meeting of the Pensioners' Association of the local group Frauental took place in the Frauenalerhof. The traditional Martinikranzchen was celebrated here, in which numerous seniors took part and offered an entertaining program. Christian Gruber, a well -known musician and sole entertainer of the group Aufüiger, who delighted the participants with his sounds, took over the background music.
The event not only offered first -class music, but also a rich Hashazshafen, in which the present were able to win numerous prizes. Valuable goods prices and vouchers of regional companies were raffled off. In addition, the guests enjoyed homemade pastries that were quickly sold out and four magnificent gift baskets that were also auctioned.

Chairman Gerhard Fink welcomed a large number of guests of honor. Among them were the mayor Bernd Hermann, community treasurer Michael Nebel, SPÖ chairman Robert Sackl and honorary citizen Ernst Strohmeier. Klaus Stanzer, the state president of the pensioner association, and his wife had not missed the event and were warmly welcomed.
In addition to the guests of honor, there were also delegations from various local groups, such as Stainz, Groß Sankt Florian and Eibiswald-Hörmsdorf, to name just. This variety of participants ensured a representative assembly that exchanged socially and had stimulating discussions. With appealing music and excellent catering, the guests spent hours together with joy.Klaus Stanzer emphasized the outstanding organization of the event and thanked those responsible for their commitment in the interests of the pensioners. In the meantime, district chairman Heinrich Kern reminded of the lively interest of the surrounding groups and continued to wire social hours. Mayor Hermann joined these words of thanks and emphasized the importance of the pensioner association for the community before Christian Gruber began to make music again.

The event culminated in an exciting price raffle in which Maria Himmelreich acted as a lucky fairy. The lucky winners could look forward to gift baskets made available by local sponsors. Ingrid Mörth was the first winner to receive a basket, sponsored by the SPÖ Frauental. Hildegard Schreu from Bad Schwanberg was delighted with another basket, which was donated by community treasurer Michael Nebel. The second prize, donated by Vice Mayor Günter Steinbauer, went to Alois Perko from Deutschlandsberg, while Maria Kerbis from the Pölfing Brunn local group was allowed to accept the basket of Mayor Hermann.
Thank you very much to the many visitors, the sponsors, helpers, as well as the enthusiastic pastry bakers, whose commitment contributed significantly to the success of the event. The numerous people present agree: the Martinikranzchen was a complete success, and the anticipation for the next meeting is already great.
