ÖKB Frauental: Board elections bring a breath of fresh air for the future

On Saturday, November 16, an important extraordinary general assembly of the ÖKB Frauentalt took place in the custody court, which was all about the new election of the entire board. The chairman. Helmut Prattes welcomed numerous guests of honor, including the former chairman Adir. Johannes Lambauer as well as Vice Mayor Günter Steinbauer and other members of the local community.

The meeting was more than just a formal act. After Johannes Lambauer put down his chairman in spring, it was long unclear how the local association should continue. Fortunately, thanks to intensive efforts, which were organized by Eb Franz Herg, among others, the impending dissolution of the association could be averted. Those present accepted the election proposal unanimously, and Helmut Prattes was elected by an overwhelming majority.

The new board consists of Helmut Prattes as chairman as well as Klaus Zungl and Uwe Kreiner as chairman of the chairman. As a cashier, Rudi Deutschmann ensures finances while Adir. Johannes Lambauer takes on the role of the secretary. Among the other board members, Robert Pauritsch can also be found in the office of Treasurer and Albin Gruber as the deputy of the secretary. The auditors Franz Reinisch and Karl Haring were also elected.

Johannes Lambauer, Oswald Franz, Josef Fuchshofer and many more were named for the extended committee riots. As a special highlight, Manfred Schmidt was presented as a sports officer and Andreas Fladerer as an EDP speaker. Helmut Prattes expressed his confidence that the association with this new team can look strengthened into the future.

District chairman Markus Poscharnik not only congratulated them on election, but also gave an overview of the current activities in the region. Before the national holiday, there were campaign days in the local associations of St. Oswald and Trahütten, where the children were brought closer to the topic of war. Poscharnik pointed out that the flag on the national holiday is becoming increasingly rare and that it is an educational task to maintain this customs as part of the community identity.

The newly elected chairman Helmut Prattes was grateful for the trust that was shown to him. Together with his team, he plans to advance the association with new enthusiasm and in good cooperation with the other clubs. In his speech, he also mentioned the excellent cooperation with the market town, especially with regard to the renovation of the war memorial. His thanks also went to the outgoing chairman Johannes Lambauer, who will work as secretary in the new board.

"We have found a good team that is ready to take responsibility. The 189 member ÖKB Frauental can look into the future with confidence," added Prattes. The meeting ended with the feeling of positive expectation and the commitment to a strong community.
