Climate change for children: Interactive exhibition in Stainz enthusiastic
In the city of Stainz, the topic of climate change was recently the focus of several events. The climate version exhibition organized by the Styria Club alliance was seen in the Stallhof Festhalle from the beginning of November. It aimed to sensitize primary school students for nature and to bring them closer to the right behavior in everyday life. The exhibition also included the performance of attractive children's books, which served to illustrate the topics related to climate change.
A highlight of the event was the reading of Anna Maria Maul, who introduced teachers and children into the climate world. The children's books "from the climate shaller to the climate backer" and "with the climate backer through the year" were read out. The management of the library, Bianca Angerer, warmly welcomed the children and encouraged them to actively participate in the climate -friendly activities.
change through education and commitment
The reading was well received by the children, with Anna Maria Maul vividly conveying the path from horror to the checker. With descriptive examples and stories, she showed how to use everyday objects more environmentally friendly, for example by switching from plastic products to handmade alternatives such as wool sweaters and solar cells. The climate backer received support from his friends Klimax, Stector and Lola, who effortlessly explained why it is important to pay attention to the environment and the climate.
The discussion about the direct effects of our behavior on the climate was particularly exciting. The children learned that a lot can be caused by small changes such as switching off lamps or the correct separation of garbage. It was also shown how climate change affects the seasons: less snow in winter and earlier harvests in summer have direct episode for our environment and agriculture.
Overall, the event not only offered valuable information, but also practical approaches, as every single one can contribute to climate protection. Maul encouraged the children to further deepen their learned content at home and to actively stand up for the climate.
