The Hollenegger Schlossteifl: the latest Krampus group inspires the region

The Krampus clubs are particularly active in the Bad Schwanberg region. A group particularly catches the eye: the "Hollenegger Schlossteifl". They founded themselves two years ago and now bring a breath of fresh air to the traditional customs around the Krampus.

With your unique name, you already show that you are on your heart. Chairman Marvin Voithofer announces that almost everyone is friends in the club and that some experience has already brought experience in the customs scene. Her goal is to keep the tradition of Krampus, which acts as companion of St. Nicholas. They consciously differ from the perches that become active in the period before Christmas to drive out the winter.

a strong team with gender balance

The association, which currently has 20 members, reaches a gender parity of exactly 50 percent. The secretary Anja Walzl is particularly pleased, since they not only maintain customs, but can also strengthen the community among the members. Their enthusiasm is contagious, because even the youngest members, including children, are integrated into the appearances.

At their last appearance at the Interspar in Germany, the "Hollenegger Schlossteifl" showed that the customs can also be made child -friendly. The little devils and the Engerl shone while the adults observed the performing figures with respect. "It is important to us that the children do not frighten," explains chairman deputy Philipp Marchel.

traditional craft and artistic masks

Another highlight of the group is your mask exhibition in the Rossstall of the Hollenegg Castle. The impressive masks that carry the Krampuses were made by the mask carver David Fuchs. These details are crucial because they not only contribute to the visual attractiveness, but also to protect tradition.

A look into the future shows that the "Hollenegger Schlossteifl" already have defined appointments for Krampus runs. A run in the center of Bad Schwanberg is planned on November 30th, followed by a big run on December 7th at the main square of Deutschlandsberg, where you will perform together with the carnival club.

A uniform appearance with bright skins and outstanding masks ensures that you will not only spread scary with your appearance, but also to enjoy joy. They understand their core task in making the customs around Santa Claus and Krampus tangible. Marvin Voithofer emphasizes that the appearances serve to inspire the children for tradition, which is one of the greatest motivations for the group.
