The special occasion was treated with great respect by the local association, because such a round birthday is something extraordinary for the members.

Chairman Hopfgartner thanked the Comradeship Association on behalf of the entire board for the long -term loyalty of Elisabeth Hermann and presented her a gold medal as a sign of recognition for 50 years of committed membership. This award was presented by group leader Hohensinger, who also added a charming saying: "Love, happiness and sunshine should always be your companions!" The solemn moment was accompanied by the traditional birthday song "Happy Birthday to you", which those present sing along.

The family life of Elisabeth Hermann

Elisabeth Hermann was born in St. Stefan and grew up there. She worked early on the parents' farm and later led her husband Walter the family inn, which is now in the hands of Auer. The couple married in 1955 and became parents of four children: Lisbeth (†), Walter, Harald and Karin.

Due to its commitment in the family business, which also included a car company with a petrol station on today's Kärntner Straße, it was significantly involved in the company's financial transactions. Elisabeth hit a serious loss in 1993 when her husband died after 38 years together. Despite this stroke of fate, she remained loyal to the family and retired a year later.

Elisabeth Hermann is the link of her big family, which now includes five grandchildren and four great -grandchildren. These enrich their lives and benefit from their loving care. It also has a connection to relatives who are further away, for example in Canada. Her twin sister Maria died about a year ago, but Elisabeth remains loyal to her friends and acquaintances in her warmth and kindness.

In a jovial atmosphere, the jubilee celebrated with over forty relatives and friends in the “Herrgotthö” restaurant, which was once owned by her parents. Despite her advanced years, Elisabeth shows up in life and expresses that she is still fit enough for a short walk through the garden. Her daughter Karin confirmed that the celebration was long -lasting and full of happy memories.
