Spar calls Veggie Girasoli back: peanut contamination found!
In an alarming recall, the Spar retail group must remove its popular "Spar Veggie Girasoli Spinat-Cashew 250g". In the case of routine controls, it emerged that these products could possibly be contaminated with the allergenic peanut. The minimum preservation data concerned are 17.02.2025, 27.02.2025 and 11.03.2025. Therefore, SPAR has already removed all goods with these MHDs immediately from the sale, as both kosmo.at as well as krone.at reported.
This measure is aimed specifically at nut allergy sufferers who are warned before taking the product. SPAR recommends not to consume the “Spar Veggie Girasoli Spinat-Cashew 250g” with the durability data mentioned. All other Spar Veggie Articles and products from other brands are spared from this recall. Customers who have purchased the affected product can easily return it in their nearest savings, Eurospar or Interspar market. The purchase price is also reimbursed without a cashabon.
