Small Dragons open the Althofen concert summer with great victory!

The anticipation for the Althofen concert summer is great, because the local band "Small Dragons", consisting of Lilly Mickula, Logan, Cailen and Finlay Krenbucher, will officially open the event. On May 21, 2025, the home game of the talented musicians will take place: inside in the city park, which begins at 5:00 p.m. with an after-work meeting in the open air. The band has also achieved a remarkable success by winning the first prize in the renowned Prima-la-Musica competition and is thus forwarded to the federal competition, which underlines its outstanding services. The Prima-la-Musica competition is the largest youth music competition in Austria and from May 18 to 29, 2023, brought together a large number of young talents between the ages of 10 and 21 at renowned locations in Graz. In this competition, which emphasizes the achievements of musicians: in the nine federal states, a total of 806 participants competed in various solo and chamber music categories. It was particularly noteworthy that the live streamed events gathered around 15,500 spectators: inside the screens, so that the audience became part of this artistic competition. Mag. Ulrike Sych, Chair of the Music Advisory Board Music Advisory Board, praised the remarkable achievements of the young people and the tireless use of parents and teachers who support this creative environment. This commitment is made possible, among other things, through funding from the Federal Ministry of Art, Culture, Public Service and Sport, as well as through special support from the State of Styria and the city of Graz.
