Heavy skiing accident in Sölden: 15-year-old in critical condition!

Tiefenbachferner, Sölden, Tirol, Österreich - On May 19, 2025, a serious skiing accident occurred at the Tiefenbachferner in Sölden, Tyrol. A 15-year-old student from Italy, who was in ski training, lost control of his ski at around 10.30 a.m. This happened while driving over an artificially created wave track, whereupon he fell into a trough. The immediate measures taken by his trainer and the employees of the mountain railways included the alarm of a rescue helicopter.
