on Sunday, April 20, 2025, a serious traffic accident occurred between two motocross motorcyclists around 11:10 a.m. in Judenburg, Styria. The two 20-year-old drivers probably collided head-on while they were traveling on a forest path. According to the first surveys, both drove in the same direction before one of the drivers turned and there was a collision. Both drivers wore helmets, but no protective clothing, which apparently tightened the severity of the injuries.

The injured motorcyclists were looked after by a third friend who is 19 years old and did forest work nearby with his father. This also informed the rescue workers, who were immediately on site. The rescue operation included police forces, an emergency doctor vehicle, two rescue operations vehicles as well as three forces from the mountain rescue and a command vehicle from the fire brigade. The emergency doctor found a traumatic brain trauma in the two accident victims.
