Shock crash in Lambrechten: mother and daughter seriously injured!

on Sunday evening, June 1, 2025, a serious traffic accident occurred in Lambrechten, district of Ried im Innkreis, Upper Austria. According to the information from 5min.at, a car of a 51-year-old woman from the Schärding district and a car of a 17-year-old driver from the district of Ried in the Innkreis was involved in a collision.

The mother was traveling with her 16-year-old daughter on L514 Andorfer Straße in the direction of Andorf when the 17-year-old driver overlooked the woman's vehicle while turning into the L514. The collision caused the 51-year-old car to be pushed off the road. However, she was able to steer it back onto the street over the green strip before the car came to a standstill about 60 meters after the intersection. Both occupants of the vehicle, the mother and daughter, suffered injuries and were taken to the Ried hospital. Fortunately, both accident drivers were sober at the time of the accident.

Another accident occurred on the same day at 10:35 a.m. on Rohrbacher Straße B127 near Altenfelden. There, two cars in the crossing area collided for an unknown cause, which injured three people. The fire brigades of Neufelden and quarry were alerted with the alarm keyword "branded car outdoor", but found on site that it was a traffic accident and not a vehicle fire. The Fire Brigade Erdleiten, randomly nearby, took over the initial care of the injured and the traffic regulation.

The police took over the accident recording and the traffic regulation, while the Neufelden fire brigade cleaned the road and carried out the clean -up work. Fortunately, there was no vehicle on fire in this accident.
