A construction site on the A10 should be completed at the end of June.

The connection from Linz to Graz via the Pyhrn Autobahn (A9) is also affected by the traffic jam. In Vorarlberg, among others, the Rhine Valley Autobahn (A14) and the Arlberg expressway (S16) are heavily frequented.
Details on Tauern Autobahn
The Tauern Autobahn (A10) extends over 194 kilometers and forms an essential north-south connection for vacationers from Germany to Italy. It begins at the Salzburg node and ends in the direction of Lienz. Due to intensive traffic loads at the weekend, there are numerous construction sites on the highway that lead to slow traffic flows and traffic jams. Among other things, slow traffic in the areas of Kuchl to Pass Lueg and between throwing and golling-abtenau are reported. A special traffic jam is created due to road construction work between Ofenau tunnel and Helbersberg tunnel, which will last until June 26, 2025.
The importance of the A10 is underlined not only through their traffic, but also by their role as a central trade route that connects Salzburg and Carinthia. Fundle of noise protection leads to speed restrictions of 100 km/h in the Salzburg area, while in other areas there is a restriction of 110 km/h.
backlognoses and traffic information
Numerous other streets are also at risk during the Pentecost holidays: in Tyrol, the Brenner Autobahn (A13) and the Inn Valley Autobahn (A12) and various federal highways are heavily loaded. The Salzburg West Autobahn (A1) and Pinzgauer Straße (B311) are added in Salzburg. Stow and delays can also be expected in Upper Austria, Styria, Carinthia and Lower Austria.
In order to better manage the traffic situation, the ÖAMTC build-up advisor Herbert Thaler will be mobile on the Tauern Autobahn from Saturday morning. In addition, club members have the option of perceiving online doctor's discussions in the EU area (except Austria).
The traffic volume during the Pentecost is reflected in a general tendency, which is also recorded in the results of the compendium "Traffic in Numbers" of Federal Ministry for Transport . Here, among other things, annual investments in the transport infrastructure and the daily mobility behavior of Germans are documented, which is of great importance for transport policy.
The upcoming Pentecost weekend is not only a highlight of the desire to travel, but also a massive challenge for the traffic infrastructure, especially on the Tauern Autobahn and the adjacent main traffic axes.
