In addition to the fresh snow, there will be intensive rain in the south of Austria, including the Alpine region. A deep over northern Italy brings strong rainfall that increase the flood risk in many regions. In Tyrol, East Tyrol and Upper Carinthia in particular, the residents have to calculate up to 100 liters of rain per square meter within 24 hours, while the snow border is partly over 3000 meters, such as uwz.at .
