Lea-Salzburg: Strong effort for women's power on World Women's Day 2025!

Salzburg, Österreich - On March 4, 2025, Lea - Let’s Empower Austria celebrates its three -year existence and draws a positive balance of his activities to support women and girls in Austria. The mission includes measures in all federal states, with an impressive total range of 11,967 participants by 413 individual measures between March 2022 and December 2024. According to Nalan Gündüz, the director of Lea, the program has struck severe roots in these three years. New location in Salzburg

The opening of the new LEA location in Salzburg on July 9, 2024 represents significant progress for gender justice in Austria. In the presence of Minister of Women Susanne Raab and other prominent representatives, the location was launched to promote school visits and workshops on topics such as gender equality as well as vocational orientation. With the support of volunteers Lea-Role Models, who have been recognized for their commitment, the location should help to make sustainable changes and to promote more women in MINT professions. The new initiative in Salzburg will strengthen activities in the federal states of Salzburg, Tyrol and Vorarlberg and have a positive impact on the existing social structures.
