The highly expected final of the Uniqa ÖFB Cup 2025 will be held on Thursday, May 1st, at 5:00 p.m. in the Wörthersee Stadium in Klagenfurt. This exciting news was announced by the Austrian Football Association (ÖFB) on Thursday, and the games are also broadcast live in ORF 1. However, if you manage to go to the final, you still have to wait, as the semi-finals will take place on April 2. In Linz, the LASK receives the Wolfsberger AC at 6:15 p.m., while the game FK Austria Vienna against TSV Hartberg will be held in Vienna at 8:30 p.m., as Ligaportal reported.
Ticket demand for the semi -finals is already very evident: 9,300 and 10,000 tickets were sold in Linz and in Vienna. These numbers illustrate the great interest in the dueling teams. The two semi -finals decide which club will play for the prestigious title on May 1st. The winner of the first semi -finals (LASK against WAC) also receives home rights in the final. There are also fresh financial incentives for the participating clubs: 33,000 euros per home club and 55,000 euros for the guest clubs, while the finalists receive 120,000 euros and shares in the income of the final, as can be seen from the information from Laola1.
The way to the title
In the past eleven years, the coveted trophy has always been going to teams from Salzburg or Graz, but this season the tide could turn. The possible title candidates are now the LASK, the Wolfsberger AC, TSV Hartberg and FK Austria Vienna, which is considered a record cup winner.
