New health centers in Salzburg: faster to your doctor!

Salzburg, Österreich - In Salzburg, health care flourishes like never before! Seven modern primary care centers are already active in the state, including in Saalfelden, Mittersill, St. Gilgen, Hallein and three times in the city of Salzburg. The legal relief for the establishment of such centers in 2023 has an effect. Particularly noteworthy is the new EU-funded primary supply center in Salzburg-Leopoldskron, which has been open on weekdays for two months. With an additional location in Liefering, this center is one of the largest in Austria. According to Andrea Binder, a waiter from Bergheim, the central location brings significant advantages: "I don't have to go from it now and to the next," she explains so that patients can easily carry out various treatments in one building.

Optimal cooperation for patients

In the two houses of the center, three waiting rooms, four medical practices and two laboratories are available to the patient. There are also special practices for psychotherapy and physiotherapy. The team of doctors and therapists pursues the goal of looking after the patients in the best possible way and providing them as quickly as possible. "We say to the patient, please go directly to our physiotherapists, which will save ourselves to save each other," emphasizes Dr. Robert Ebner. This system enables simple billing via the E-Card without deductibles, but only for insured persons from the Austrian Health Insurance Fund (ÖGK). With around 20 employees, almost 2000 patients are treated weekly, including telephone and online appointments.

Another promising project is Salvida, which will open in Salzburg Mitte in July 2024. Here an interdisciplinary team of experts will act in a specially designed building that covers the diverse needs in the health sector. From doctors to therapists to dietologists - every health profession is offered a comprehensive service package. This new concept is described by those responsible as "place where people are the focus" and promises effective cooperation for the well -being of the patients.
