A tragic incident occurred in the waters from the island of Verde in the Philippines, where two Russian tourists lost their lives on a dive. The diving group, consisting of four people, fell into strong currents that suddenly pulled them away from the surface. While two divers, together with their local diving instructor, found their way back to their boat, Ilia Peregudin (29) and Maksim Melekhov (39) in the brutal lake disappeared like n-tv.de reported.
The Situation escalated dramatically: While Peregudin was missing, Melekhov was later discovered with a separate arm and orbit from sharks. The Filipino Coast Guard confirmed that despite immediate search and rescue campaigns, there was no longer a chance to save the two divers. Melekhov was found unconscious one hour after the incident and later died in the hospital in Batangas, such as krone.at reported.
