variety of topics in focus

The conference addresses important aspects of the circular economy. The Federal Association of Sustainable Economy (BVNG) emphasizes that the circular economy is a necessary answer to resource shortage, pollution and climate change. That is why practical solutions to ecological and social responsibility are presented.

Also in the program are discussion rounds about the "Green Deal" and the challenges that he brings. Topics on durability in everyday life underline the relevance to efficiently use products and resources by repairing, reuse and recycling. According to BMBF it is crucial to separate economic growth from the consumption of natural resources.

supporting institutions and sponsors

The forum was launched by Rudolf Zrost, Irene Schulte and Christian Helmenstein and is supported by important sponsors, including the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, Climate and Environmental Protection as well as the Stieglbrauerei and Salzburg AG. Other supporters include old -fashioned recycling Austria, Lidl, Uniqa and the Economic Chamber of Austria.

A central goal of this event is to strengthen small and medium -sized companies (SMEs) to implement sustainable and circular business models. The exchange between companies, research institutions and political decision -makers is essential for the development of innovative solutions - an approach that the BVNG is also pursuing to promote economic stability.

The topics of the event are particularly relevant at a time when the consumption of raw materials in industrialized countries are increasing exponentially and waste is produced. The need for increased resource efficiency is becoming more and more obvious, and such initiatives can make a decisive contribution to combating these challenges, as BVNG emphasized.
