Dance for a good cause: 24 hours La Blast Challenge in Wels

In the dance school in Wels, an impressive charity event recently took place, during which more than 24 hours were danced continuously. This extraordinary 24-hour La Blast Challenge not only inspired the participants, but also compiled a significant amount of donations of 10,000 euros for the association in the dark. The event is now an integral part of the annual calendar of the dance school and attracts numerous dance -loving people.

With a minimum donation of ten euros, the participants, some of whom came without dance partners, were able to swing their legs a whole night and for a day with different dances like Cha Cha, Samba and Jive. Almost 500 participants flocked to the large ballroom of the Dragon barracks to become part of this special event.

"The motivation was simply overwhelming. Many dancers kept out for more than ten hours," said Maria Angelini-Santner, the operator of the dance school, with enthusiasm. Angelini-Santner was particularly impressed by the energy that some dancers performed. So there was a participant who spent a fabulous 17 hours on the dance floor! "You have to imagine that," she remarked and praised the great endurance of the dancers.
