New base of Caritas: Mobile care strengthens the Wels-Land municipality

A new base for Caritas's mobile care services was opened in Wels. This is located in the parish center of St. Josef and is operated by a dedicated team of 22 employees. These specialists take care of the care of older people in nine communities and ensure that they are well looked after in their own home.

Under the direction of Doris Marchgraber, the Caritas employees currently support 108 seniors. The ceremonial opening of the new location included a festival that was visited by Stefan Pimmingstorfer, a board member of Caritas Upper Austria, and other guests, including representatives of the municipalities and social welfare associations. It was an opportunity to celebrate the cooperation between Caritas and the local communities.

The parish of St. Josef is also particularly pleased with the new partnership. The chairman of the Finance team, Erwin Steinmaurer, and parish provisor Johann Bräuer described the positive effects that Caritas' mental is on the parish.
