Give Christmas joy: help children in need in the district!
There are many ways to spread joy, especially in the Christmas season. A simple and effective method is the Christmas joy campaign, which will also be implemented this year to help children in needy children in countries such as Romania, Moldova and Ukraine.
The idea behind this initiative is simple: you grab a shoe box with useful and loving gifts. Hygiene articles, sweets, school needs, new winter clothing and toys can be placed in this box. It is important to pack the box for Christmas by packing the lid and the box separately. After that, an age section should be glued to the box, followed by a donation of 3 euros in a couvert that is used for transport and processing.
How does the action work?
The gift packages collected are distributed in kindergartens, schools, public institutions and during Christian services. This not only ensures that the packages come to the children, but also promotes the sense of community because many people work together to help others.
You can also hand over gifts at Monika Schwetz at Marktplatz 7 in Reichenau, accessible at 07211/40115 or 0676 7312355. Another collection point is located at Gabi Hofer, Pelmberg 9 in Hellmonsödt, phone 0680 4027594.
Margarethe Perndl is also a point of contact in which in Weingarten 2 in Ottensheim, available on 0699 12606741. Andrea Puchner, who can be found at Golfplatzstraße 19, is responsible for the area at 0664 4824900.
